About the fellowship

What Sex Addicts Anonymous is, and who it's for.

Search AA, NA and other UK recovery meetings by postcode, town, or fellowship, in person or online. No sign-up. No tracking of who you are. Just the door, the time, and how to get there.

Sex Addicts Anonymous, or SAA, is a free, anonymous twelve-step fellowship for people who want to stop compulsive sexual behaviour. Members support each other to define their own boundaries and keep to them, one day at a time.

There are no fees and nothing to sign. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop addictive sexual behaviour.

Who it's for

SAA is for anyone whose sexual behaviour feels compulsive, secret, or out of step with their own values, whatever form it takes. People arrive from every background and every kind of story, and many have tried to stop on their own many times. You do not have to label yourself before you come, and nothing is expected of you at a first meeting beyond listening. Each member defines their own sobriety with the help of the group, because what is harmful differs from person to person.

SAA and SLAA are different fellowships

The UK also has Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous, SLAA, which covers compulsive romantic and relationship patterns as well as sex. SAA's focus is compulsive sexual behaviour itself. Some people try both and settle where they identify most; both are anonymous and free, and neither will mind that you looked at the other.

Meetings in the UK

The UK has a small but steady set of SAA meetings: in-person groups in several cities, telephone meetings most mornings, and hybrid groups you can join either way. Telephone meetings make a discreet first step if walking into a room feels like too much today.
