Online meetings

Meetings at 3am, and any other hour.

Search AA, NA and other UK recovery meetings by postcode, town, or fellowship, in person or online. No sign-up. No tracking of who you are. Just the door, the time, and how to get there.

Cravings, worry and hard nights do not keep office hours, and neither do meetings. Because online meetings span every time zone, there is a meeting running somewhere at every hour of the day and night, and you can be in it from the UK.

If you work shifts, wake at 4am, or just find the nights hardest, this is for you.

Around the clock

Several fellowships run continuous or near-continuous online rooms, including marathon meetings that hand over from host to host across time zones. Beyond those, the sheer number of international online meetings means early morning UK time is mid-evening somewhere else. The room is open even when your town is asleep.

Finding one at an odd hour

Use the near me now page, which is time-aware and shows online meetings starting soon whatever the hour. Filter by time of day on any list. If nothing is starting this minute, a helpline bridges the gap: the numbers on the support page are there through the night, and Samaritans (116 123) answer at any hour about anything.

Questions people ask

Are there recovery meetings in the middle of the night?

Yes. Online meetings run across every time zone, so there are meetings joinable from the UK at any hour, including continuous marathon rooms in some fellowships. The near me now page shows what is starting soon.

I work shifts. How do I fit meetings in?

Online schedules cover mornings, afternoons and nights, so most patterns can find a regular slot. Time-of-day filters on any meeting list let you see only what fits yours.

What if I need to talk to someone right now?

If no meeting is starting soon, helplines are there through the night: Samaritans on 116 123 at any hour, and the fellowship helplines listed on our support page. If it is a medical emergency, call 999.
