Online meetings

Online recovery meetings across the UK.

Search AA, NA and other UK recovery meetings by postcode, town, or fellowship, in person or online. No sign-up. No tracking of who you are. Just the door, the time, and how to get there.

You can join a UK recovery meeting online today, from wherever you are. AA, NA, Cocaine Anonymous, Al-Anon, SMART Recovery and many other fellowships run meetings over Zoom and similar tools, and 12stepfinder lists them all in one place.

There is no account to create here and nothing to register for. You find a meeting, note the time and the link, and join. Many people go to their first ever meeting this way.

Why people choose online meetings

Some people cannot easily get to a room: distance, transport, work patterns, caring for children, health, or simply not being ready to walk through a door. Others just want to start quietly. An online meeting removes all of that. You can listen with the camera off, use a first name only, and leave whenever you need to. It counts just the same.

Online also means choice. If your town has one meeting a week, the internet has one starting within hours, across every fellowship listed here. Many people mix the two: a local room when they can, online in between.

How to find one now

Use the search on the home page and choose online, or see what is starting soon on the near me now page, which shows online meetings alongside anything close to you. Every listing shows the day, the time, and how to join.

Which fellowships meet online?

Most of them. AA and NA have large online schedules, and you will also find Cocaine Anonymous, Gamblers Anonymous, Overeaters Anonymous, Al-Anon and Families Anonymous for family members, SMART Recovery if you prefer a non-12-step approach, and many smaller fellowships. Each one is simply an option: you are welcome to try any meeting and decide for yourself what fits.

Questions people ask

Are online recovery meetings free?

Yes. Online meetings are free to join, exactly like in-person ones. Some groups mention voluntary contributions, and that is always optional.

Do I need to sign up or make an account?

Not on 12stepfinder. There is no account and no registration here, and we do not track who you are. Most meetings just have a link you click at the meeting time.

Do I have to have my camera on or speak?

No. You can join with the camera off, listen without saying anything, and use a first name or change your display name. Nobody will make you take part, and you can leave whenever you want.

Are online meetings as good as in-person ones?

They are real meetings with the same purpose, and for many people they are the way recovery starts or stays steady. Some people prefer rooms, some prefer online, and many use both. Whatever you can actually get to is the right one today.

How do I find an online meeting today?

Search from the home page and choose online, or open the near me now page to see meetings starting soon, online and near you, with times and joining details.
