Debtors Anonymous helps people stop taking on unsecured debt, one day at a time. Every DA meeting is open to anyone with a desire to stop debting. Some meetings simply have a focus, and the main one is Business Debtors Anonymous, usually shortened to BDA.
This page explains BDA, how it differs from a general DA meeting, and points you to some of the meetings that carry the focus. Like all DA meetings it is free and anonymous, and you are welcome to listen.
BDA is for people who own a business or are self-employed, where debting and money trouble are tied up with the work itself.
The tools are the same as DA, a spending record, pressure relief groups, and no new unsecured debt, but the conversation is about business income, pricing, paying yourself, and the particular pressures of working for yourself.
Most DA meetings are open to anyone debting, whether or not they run a business. If you are not sure, a general DA meeting is a fine place to start, and members will point you to BDA if it fits.
People often confuse DA with Underearners Anonymous (UA), which focuses on under-earning and under-using your abilities. UA is a separate fellowship with its own meetings. 12stepfinder lists DA; for UA, see its own website.
