Plenty of people cannot easily get to an in-person meeting. Illness or disability, anxiety, caring for children or a relative, no car and no bus route, or a body that simply will not cooperate today. None of that has to keep you out of a meeting.
Online meetings are not a lesser version of recovery. They are full meetings, with the same readings, the same honesty and the same welcome, and you can be in one today from wherever you are.

Every online meeting on this site can be joined from home, a hospital bed, a parked car, or anywhere else you have signal. You can listen with the camera off, keep your name to a first name, type in the chat instead of speaking, and leave whenever you need to. All of it counts.
Walking into a room of strangers is a big ask, and you do not have to start there. Many people begin online, get to know the rhythm of meetings, and only later try a room in person, if they ever want to. There is no deadline and no test. Listening quietly from your kitchen is a real first step, and for some people it is the whole path.
No internet, or no privacy on a screen? Some meetings can be dialled into by phone, and every fellowship helpline on our support page is a human voice without any technology beyond a call.

Completely. You can join with your camera off, listen without saying a word, and use just a first name. Nobody will single you out, and many people start exactly this way.
Yes. Some meetings offer phone dial-in, and the fellowship helplines on our support page are a real voice at the end of a normal phone call, no internet needed.
Yes. They have the same format, the same principles and the same welcome as a church-hall room. What matters is being there, however you get there.
