Internet and Technology Addicts Anonymous · UK
Search AA, NA and other UK recovery meetings by postcode, town, or fellowship, in person or online. No sign-up. No tracking of who you are. Just the door, the time, and how to get there.
Internet and Technology Addicts Anonymous holds free, anonymous meetings for anyone whose internet, phone, gaming or screen use has become compulsive. You do not have to call yourself an addict to come, and nothing is expected of you at a first meeting beyond listening.
Because ITAA is a worldwide fellowship and meets online, there are meetings at almost every hour of the day UK time, including early mornings and late nights. Meetings run on video call or phone, usually last about an hour, and a first name is all anyone uses.
Members define their own bottom lines, the specific compulsive uses they abstain from, rather than giving up technology altogether. The fellowship adapts the same twelve steps as Alcoholics Anonymous, and the only requirement for membership is a desire to stop compulsive internet and technology use.
